Age Verification & Date of Birth Validation

After a transaction completes, two endpoints are available for extracting age-related identity data: Age Verification and Date of Birth Validation.

Both endpoints work with all available Auth and non-QES Sign methods in the eID Hub.

Endpoint	Purpose
Age Verification	Returns whether the authenticated user is above a specified age limit
Date of Birth Validation	Returns the user's date of birth, and optionally matches it against a provided value

How it works

Both endpoints are called after a completed transaction. The transaction itself is unchanged. The customer initiates and completes a normal auth flow using the front-end, API, or MAS. Once the transaction reaches complete status, these endpoints can be queried using the transaction_id.
