Testing

Freja has a test mode built into the production app.

1. Install the Freja app from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Switch it to test mode by tapping the 'General Terms and Conditions' button six times. On Android, test mode activates and takes you to the splash screen. On iOS, close and reopen the app for it to take effect.
3. Register a test identity: accept the terms and privacy policy, enter and confirm a valid email address, set a PIN of at least six digits, then set up fingerprint or Face ID. No Swedish identity document is needed for a test registration.

To test flows that need Freja eID+, upgrade your test identity in the Freja test vetting portal: enter the email address to upgrade, provide the required information and complete the upgrade.
