Testing

info

itsme test access isn't self-service: there's no public test-user generator. Contact Scrive directly to get a test account, then install and enrol it in the itsme-E2E app.

Install the itsme-E2E app

  • iOS — open the AppStore link on your device. You may need to trust the Belgian Mobile ID NV developer profile first, under Settings → General → Profiles & Device Management.
  • Android — access is whitelisted per device. Send your Google Play Store profile email address to onboarding@itsme-id.com, wait for confirmation, then open the test-track link and opt in as a tester. The "itsme E2E" app then appears in the Play Store under Belgian Mobile ID's apps.

Enrol your test account

  1. Open the app, tap "Continue" and accept the confidentiality policy.
  2. Enter the test account's phone number, without the country prefix (for example 0032 becomes +32 and you enter the rest).
  3. Choose the country of the ID document.
  4. At the bottom of the identity provider list, choose "My ID Broker" and follow the redirect to link your test identity.
  5. Confirm the account creation and return to the app.
  6. Choose a test PIN code and remember it, then follow the remaining on-screen steps.

You can edit the test account's email address from the app itself ("…" menu → My ID Details), or edit other test data in the B2B Portal (ask the onboarding team for access). To re-enrol or switch test accounts on the same device, delete the existing one first via Security & Privacy → Delete my itsme.
